Is it a bird? Is it a Plane? IT IS…… THE BIRD OF PREY! OMG! What a phenomenon already! A supernatural IPA chock-full of citra, chinook and mosaic hops. One of the many beers Uiltje Brewing is so, so proud of. Always fresh, and always super hoppy.
Is the Bird of Prey out of control? You bet your *ss it is! But if you drink it immediately you’ll probably be able to temper it. And if you don’t drink it ASAP you can tame this bionic bird by storing it in a cool dark place. Otherwise it becomes kryptonite!
Our feathery friend is the ideal beer for real life superheroes! Do you sometimes feel a bit adventurous? Well, a can of our sublime Bird of Prey is all you need to start off with, and the adventures will follow subsequently. One of our most precious IPA's, or India Pale Ales if you will. 330ml can via Beer52: BB 28th May 2021. Poured into a La Chouffe tulip glass at home on 18th Jul 2020. Mini-haze to the light golden body, white bubbles on top. Tropical fruits in both the nose and taste, dry and semi-bitter with an undercurrent of sweetness.

Draught @ Highlanders Bar, Aarhus. Pours almost clear light golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, fruity hops, peach, mango, light citrus. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, malt, fruit, peach, citrus. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, sweet light bitter finish. Somewhat boring. 050620

Can from Geers, Oostakker. Pours hazy golden with a lasting, thin, foamy, white head. Aroma of yellow grapefruit, dank mandarin, pine resin, mango, lime, stonefruit. Taste has sour citrus, sweetish mandarin & bitter grapefruit peel & vague pine, 'minneola' tangelo accent dancing in the back. Dry, piney, grapefruity hoppy finish, bready malt & lingering zesty citrus. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very fresh & enjoyable; I like my IPAs Uiltje-style...

A light orange beer, a head is medium and blond. Nice aroma, fruitful, mandarin, grapefruit, lime, mango. Taste has grapefruit, lime, some sweet mango, medium bitterness, quite dry. Medium bodied. Fresh, citrucy, balanced.

On tap at Beer Loves Food, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a wonderful piney hop character, with just enough biscuity malt to back. Flavour reveals wonderful piney hop goodness, bringing that great west coast style to the forefront. Just enough biscuity malt backbone. The pine is soft yet potent here. Excellent.
