Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a thin head and aromas of lemon and horse blanket. Flavor is clean and crisp with some sour citrus. This has been in the fridge for a while so it has maybe lost some of its early glory. It much passion fruit to speak of.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 9/2016. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy passionfruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, green apple, citrus zest, hay, straw, grass, oak, pepper, wheat, cracker, musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, fruity hops, passionfruit, oak, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy passionfruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, green apple, citrus zest, hay, straw, grass, oak, pepper, wheat, cracker, musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; and light yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy passionfruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, green apple, citrus zest, hay, straw, grass, oak, pepper, wheat, cracker, musty/lacto funk and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, fruity hops, passionfruit, oak, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from tartness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/sticky/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited Berliner weisse! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, fruity hops, passionfruit, oak, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly lactic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Very flavorful for the low ABV. The balance between fruity hops, passionfruit, oak, Lacto, and pale/wheat malts is damn near perfect. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example.

Bottle from Wine Tree East. Pours a hazy pineapple juice gold with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Huge passion fruit forward nose with some pineapple and kiwi notes. Soft, well-rounded but juicy mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Tart but not overly so...super smooth. Awesome stuff.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow-straw, large white head, dissipates leaving lots of fluffy clumpy lacing and residual. Aroma is passionfruit forward, sour mash, hints of salt. Flavor is light tart, super fruity, passionfruit, a bit salty oddly enough, sour mash, wheat, a bit of dust, mineral water. Light body, hugely crushable. Yummmy
