A smooth malt forward Märzen with rich, toasty depth from Vienna and Munich malts. Lagered for over a month to enhance clarity and balance, it finishes clean with soft herbal notes from Tettnang hops.

Keg draught from Tønne.. light caramel amber, clear with an uneven grouping of off-white head. Malty aroma, some
Toffee apple notes, orange peel, light sweet spice. Taste is also sweet and light with some delicious malty character. Very light bitterness lines the finish on the way down. Thin body with carbonation on the low side. Not bad.

It's 25 years ago this week I first turned up in Münich on the last day of Oktoberfest, although I wasn't documenting my beer travels then. Very cask centric version of a Märzen, the style is excellent, not quite the authentic taste given the fermenting, but pretty close. Sweetish taste but expected, with a light stickiness.
