440ml can. Pours almost black with a beige/tan head. Aroma of roast and chocolate malts with prominent hoppiness, pine and citrus peel. Taste is similarly very hoppy with BIPA like profile of pine and grapefruit, robust malt base of roast and chocolate, moderate bitterness. Medium-full bodied, smooth. Beautiful.

440ml can from Middle Farm, Firle. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grassy hops and light roasty notes. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, grassy, light liquorice, light ashtray, spicy hop, dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
