Bomber. Dark brown, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of brett, leafy notes, funk, grain, nuts, tea. The taste is brett, grape leaves, citrus, plum, nuts, honey. Medium bodied, high carbonation.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 8/2016. Pours lightly hazy deep reddish copper/light brown color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with insane retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass. Insane appearance. Aromas of big apricot, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, golden raisin, cherry, berry, mango, melon, peppercorn, hay, straw, musty/leathery funk, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread, wheat, rye, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, dark/bready/rye malt, and earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big apricot, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, golden raisin, cherry, berry, mango, melon, peppercorn, hay, straw, musty/leathery funk, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread, wheat, rye, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Moderate peppery rye/yeast spiciness, pine/herbal/grassy bitterness, and slight tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, golden raisin, cherry, berry, mango, melon, peppercorn, hay, straw, leather, funk, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread, rye, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, dark/bready/rye malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance. A bit of lingering hop astringency, but not overwhelming. Moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness, increasing through the glass. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 8.5%. Overall this is an awesome dark Brett saison style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, dark/bready/rye malt, and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink for the ABV. Fairly aggressively bitter, spicy, and drying; but has a wonderful showcase of Brett complexity, with balancing malt character. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle at home, see pic with my really comfy blue beer-drinking chair. Hazy brown color, tan ice cream cone head. Aroma has subtle dust, subtle black pepper, light spice, brown toast. Taste is spiced brown bread, burnt peppery caramel. Delicious.

Rich copper and bronze coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of grain, alcohol, nuts, smoke, toffee and a bit of rye - very nice and complex just in the aroma alone! Medium-bodied; Nice complex yeast flavour with some dry spices, a bit of grain and a subdued nuttiness all hanging around with some light grass, rye and toffee sweetness as well. Aftertaste shows a lot of the grain, some lightly smoked elements and a bit of the sweetness from toffee or even fruit. Overall, a complex beer, but not overtly so, more of a subdued flavour, but one that would work well for nutty beer lovers or ones who like some lighter specialty grains. I sampled this 10 ounce pour on draught at Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 11-November-2016 for US$5,00 at the end of my driveway.

Brown color, opaque, compact head. The aroma is mild, there are earthy malts, spicy rye, cabbage, funky yeast. Highly carbonated; there is a bit of clash between roasted malt, rye, the astringency, very earthy, quite spicy, quite strong Brett character; a bit too roasty and astringent in the final.
Very confused beer, seems like the product of a random idea.

Bottle - Funky stone fruit and Brett notes. Cloudy copper with a decent white head. Funky, bitter and dry. Much too dry and bitter which accentuates the grains.

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark amber, reddish brown with a small of-white head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy grainy notes upfront, with subdued brett funk, and crusty rye bread. Flavour is along the same lines, with crusty rye bread and toasted earthy grainy notes dominating, with a nice accentuation of the brett. Complex and has quite a lot of depth. Dry, grainy, bretty finish. I like this.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a rustic dark amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Messy spider web lacing.
The aroma starts with some roasty nutty malts. Light bubblegum. Light vinous is over top of some sweet wheat and spicy rye. Crisp grassy sweetness.
The flavor brings all of the previously mentioned aromas together decently. Slight vinous sticky sweet to lightly spiced rye-like aftertaste. Sticky sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body (a little heavier than expected), sessionable, somewhat. Definitely grainy on the feel.
Overall, decent saison, not exactly a top notch one, but hey, nice to try.
