Clover (2005-2014) was an uncomplicated yet complex grey cat with whom we shared an all-too-brief moment and space. In her honor, we mindfully blended our favorite barrels of Ann, Art, and Flora, each of which had been aged for between 16 and 27 months—guided by her lingering spirit towards a beer of elegance, grace, and patience. As our Clover often would, this beer took its own path and its own time to become what it is now: an effervescent, refined reflection of both our melancholy for her departure and, most importantly, our joy in traveling with her for a while.

Powerful, rich, malty nose with wine barrel helping to balance and creating a prominent Semillon-like character in the nose. Clear, bright, powerful. Wonderful.
Rich and malty again, though never too malty. Mildly tart, but properly balanced with no acid buildup. Barrel gives plentiful white wine character and the elegance and grace are here, despite its powerful richness. Lovely stuff, of course, and still has many, many more great years to come.
