Bottled at Monk's American Bar, Stockholm. Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of pineapple esters. Fairly sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Pineapple, green apples and mild spicy hay. Drying out somewhat towards a finish with fairly low bitterness. Bit too clean malt profile.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a nice hazy honey, like raw honey glow along with a crisp and nicely microbubbled pure white head. Aroma of bread, yeast, dried flowers, light spices, coriander seed, curacao, white pepper and bunches of floral elements - nice and super grassy at the finish as well. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours at first with flowers, light spices, pepper, yeast, bread, honey and a lot of coriander seed freshness throughout. Aftertaste shows mostly of the very dry and grassy flavours coupled with some subdued hop flavours, a hint of the honey and sweet notes and ending with a complex and noticeable yeast bite that shows somewhat of some funky and spontaneously fermented flavours as well. Overall, a nice and very dry/grassy saison with a lot of complexities, a very mellow finish and nice for the warmer months, while still leaving a lot of flavours around - great for a Memorial Day beer here to celebrate the holiday in the USA! I sampled this 37,5 cL bottle from The Brew Shop in Clarendon/Court House (Arlington), Virginia on 27-April-2017 for US$4,29 sampled at home in Washington on 29-May-2017 after returning from the Eastern Shore [of Virginia] earlier in the day to commemorate Memorial Day 2017.

375 ml bottle. Cloudy pale gold color topped by a massive foamy white head. Many small bubbles. Tart, lemony malt nose. First sip is zesty pale malt with notes of oats, wheat and earthy yeast. Light, dry, spicy malt in middle, hints at white pepper. Dry spicy finish and warming alcohol. Very good.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Golden color, clean, compact head. Moderately spicy, moderately sweet, soft mouthfeel, but like most American Saisons it has a quite strong vegetable character.
Not very good.

Gold. Sweet malts. Sticky, lightly spiced, not super complex. Disappointing.
