When JC discovered that @monkishhenk loved @chipdrop just as much as he does, we knew a collaboration was in order. Say hello to Let The Chip Drop.
ChipDrop connects arborists with people who can put wood chips to good use, keeping valuable resources out of landfills and giving them a second life. That focus on sustainability and community fits perfectly with the spirit of Trillium and @monkishbrewing.
This hazy IPA comes in at 7% and is brewed with Citra and Chinook hops. Packed with zesty lemon, juicy grapefruit, and tropical mango, it balances gentle bitterness with a smooth, easy-drinking finish.

I ga voor deze even in het Engels: cloudy yellow body and a small white blanket of foam with a small layer retention. Aroma's of citrus juice, citrus zest, resinous, light (sweet) tropical fruit. Quite dank retronasal, very citrus juicy, doughy. Flavour is (light) moderate bitter, juicy, with a hint of sweetness. Medium bodied. Long finish with moderate bitterness.

Canned 9/15/25, drunk 10/10/25.
Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Medium-sized, off-white head, sits at one finger.
Oh, a collab beer?! So that means it's going to be good!? Yep. Trillium really mailing it in these days except on their collabs. And here with Monkish, no less! Indeed it smells excellent; Spicy, deep and full of tropical fruit and white wine. Funk, mineral, zesty citrus and rich, but not too sweet, honey and white bread-like malts. Almost smells more Monkish than Trillium, dare I say.
Earthy and full of mineral and white wine. No herb here, just beautiful spice and tropical fruit with zesty citrus, a healthy bitterness and no chalk/twang/booze. Biscuity, lightly bready malts are fairly supple, definitely well-attenuated. Lingering pineapple, mango, unripe papaya and a hint of pine. Really wonderful balance. Maybe a touch short on the finish, leaving a bit of dull bitterness and particulate lingering.
