Pours a black from a bottle. Nose of dark chocolate with some orange marmalade. Flavor the same, except much more bitter than a standard dark chocolate. This is more like a bar of nearly unsweetened, single source floral chocolate. The flavor falls a little short on the orange, which tastes like something Pepperidge Farm would flavor a cookie with, good, not fakey, but not like orange, more like an orange confection. Still a good beer though.

On tap at bowsers. Sweet delicious chocolate aroma. Taste is alky laced choco with just a tad of orange in there. Very good choco effects but probably only could drink one of these specialty brews. Smooth, but alky is ever present. Almost in yer face fer sure. No co2. Kudos for the effort. So unique.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a glass. Black with beige head. Aroma is ripe orange, medium body, low carbonated, and little lacing. Taste is ripe orange and milk chocolate.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out shitloads of orange peel upfront, followed by chocolate. Flavour is fresh, with loads of orange peel, followed by chocolate. Wonderful mix of chocolate and orange. Super decadent and dessert-like. Excellent.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a black color with a slim quarter finger’s worth of concave white head that dissipated immediately.
The smell started off with the chocolate, rich and thick, definitely milk chocolate. To me, the orange wasn’t exactly peel as it seemed more like juice. I didn’t mind, but hey just saying, that’s all.
The taste started off sweet through the chocolate and orange, balanced with a delicate roast underneath. The aftertaste was a blend between the chocolate and the orange. The finish was mainly the chocolate and seemed to linger forever.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body, nice sipper. Carbonation seemed barely there and it roamed pretty slick with a nice thickness to it.
Overall, I’d say as an imperial stout it works. Though the orange wasn’t necessarily the peel, this was still an enjoyable offering.

Fudge nose. Black, thin tan head. Baker’s chocolate, vanilla. tree bark. A bit of orange in the finish which is more of a detractor than an enhancement. Full body, moderate carbonation. I prefer regular Choklat.

Bomber from Midtowne Bottle Shop, 6/12/15. Dark brown, medium sized foamy tan head, good retention. Strong chocolate ice cream, cocoa, bright orange finish. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, orange, mild ashy coffee. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness, smooth, low carbonation.
