Tap at Euston Pub. Nice beer all around. I always dislike 100% Citra beers - but it mellows well in cask and is subtle citrus and pleasant.

500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. It pours a lighter gold, clear with an uneven white head. Slightly astringent aroma with notes of pink grapefruit. Tastes bloody fantastic, bittersweet with a decent dollop of Citra hop, more grapefruit with orange and a little pineapple. Lighter body with heavy carbonation. Vale aren’t the most consistent brewery but this is amazing.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a tight white head; citrus aroma; full zesty lemon taste with lots of juice and pith; then a satisfying lemony finish. A rather good Citra pale.

Gravity cask at the 28th St Albans Beer Festival, 26/09/25.
Golden blonde topped with a just off white crown.
Nose is citric tinged straw, melon, orange peel.
Taste comprises grass, melon, tangerine, soft malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close splashed with mellow light juicy hop bitterness.
Okay cask pale but a little subdued for an APA.
