Bottle sample courtesy of Cheeseboard, cheers Simon! Golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of pear, fruit, gooseberry. Taste is sweet, peary, fruity, gooseberry, white wine notes, with mellow citrus and alittle tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium peary finish. Quite drinkable

750ml bottle from Darts Farm. Pours clear pale yellow gold with quickly dissipating opaque bubbles. Sweet honeyed pears. Lots of residual sweetness. Quite rich. Floral. Reminiscent of a sweet white wine. Very clean, low acidity, there's a modicum of drying tannins on the finish. It's not hugely complex but nevertheless I enjoyed it.
