330ml bottle @ Tim's place, Gent. Koelschtrinker I hold you responsible for this. Overly pungent whiff of currywurst spice, continuing predictably to form much of the overall character. Was this needed in the world?

330ml bottle. Hazy, redd-ish, dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, dark sulphureous head. Spicy aroma, widely disguised, malty background, notes of yellow curry, yellow curry powder, curry ketchup, kurkuma, a touch of garlic. Taste is spicy and sweet-ish malty, mildly bitter hoppy, notes of curry ketchup, yellow curry, a sweet-ish, fruity touch of pineapple; accumulating hints of smoked chili.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Rather crazy stuff, intense spiciness, the flattering fruity touch makes it passably drinkable; just as much as the sauce is only "attachment" to your currywurst you feel that this brew shouldn't be consumed pure as the malty body cannot replace the sausage - nevertheless not bad and fairly felicitous. Nice idea and one-off experience, but nothing I'll revisit.
