Very slightly hazy gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a soft tinned satsuma aroma. Light and zesty, sweet lemon biscuits turns to sharpish citrus bitterness quickly, finishes dry and bitter.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy off-white head and excellent lacing. There’s plenty of citrus and some caramel in the aroma. In the mouth it has characteristics both sweet and bitter with a slightly watery texture. Flavour has mixed hops, tropical fruits and citrus. Hints of spice and grains come later. Some sharpness in the finish. This is reasonable.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a loose white head and plenty of lacing on the glass; citrusy aroma; smooth grainy body with a sharp citrus taste; and a bitter lemony finish.

Wetherspoon 2025 Autumn Beer Festival. Ale#5 of 26 untried possibilities at the fest. Clear golden hoppy first brew, but underlying fruity notes provide decent sweetish flavour, and a late bitterness.
