The beer that launched Reuben’s Brews gets a once-a-year hop harvest twist. Fresh Hop Roasted Rye builds on the rich, toasty malt backbone of our original recipe with freshly harvested Amarillo hops from the Yakima Valley, delivered straight from the farm to our brewhouse. Layers of roasted cereal, caramel, and bread crust meet bursts of orange citrus, resin, and subtle dankness from the fresh hops. Medium-bodied with firm bitterness and a clean finish, this seasonal release bridges the earthy depth of rye malt with the vibrant brightness of harvest season, bringing our story full circle, pint by pint.

Malts: ESB, Pale, Marris Otter, C-60, Crystal Rye, Pale Chocolate

On tap at Reuben’s, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of rye, earthy hops, light pine, and bready malt. Flavour has plenty of roasted notes, toasted malt, earthy spicy rye, and resinous hops. Wonderful rye incorporation. Excellent.

On tap at Reuben's - Ballard. Pours clear amber with a white head. Toasted rye bread and doughy fresh hops on the nose. Flavour has dry roasted rye malts, bitter pine, dank oils and a bitter finish. Nice.
