This bold West Coast IPA was steeped on hundreds of pounds of fresh, wet, whole-cone Comet hops from Crosby Farms in Oregon. After fermentation it was dry-hopped with more Comet and Centennial. Punchy notes of nectarine and apricot meet rich flavors of mandarin orange and lemon verbena. Slightly bready malt provides structure while a pleasant hint of dank earth and fresh cut grass creep in on the finish. Medium-light bodied with assertive bitterness.

Slight haze, pale, thin head. Has a solid spicy hop, good malt, as good as comet will express, big weed.

On tap at Chuck’s Greenwood, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has bright, slightly dank hops, pine, and fresh doughy notes. Flavour has bright, bitter, piney hops, some grass, doughy malt, and a crisp, bitter finish. Nice hop usage and well-balanced structurally. Very good.
