pineapple and zesty grapefruit fill the aroma,
followed by juicy citrus hops and a touch of malt sweetness for balance. Smooth, vibrant, and refreshing from first sip to last.

Hazy gold with a small bubbly white head and a mellow citrus aroma. Moderately fizzy, fresh and zesty, fruity and bitter, soft biscuit malt lurking with a dry grapefruit bitter finish.
Unfiltered Stone Ale or Stone Ale with hazy clouds added afterwards?

My recollections of the one time I have visited the Staffordshire town of Stone are quite hazy! A paler golden coloured keg pour, which is fruity, unsurprisingly exemplified by lower citrus fruit, and stone fruits in aroma and taste.

Keg pint in the Cock Hotel on 8th October 2025 while having a meal with friends. Hazy dull golden body, white crown. Citrus lead with grapefruit to the fore, some sweeter citrus fruits arrive, but the grapefruit aroma and flavours stay until the finish.
