Foxwhelp is an apple with no equal. Intense, bold, malleable, determined. The iconic variety of Herefordshire cidermaking for over four centuries, it produces a cider with vibrancy and fruitiness like no other. Tangy raspberry, aromatic strawberry and summer roasted meadows. This bottling was fermented in an oak cask that had originated in Champagne, France before coming to Arran, Scotland and finally to Ross on Wye, England. A journey that was well worth it once it met these apples. One of the best Foxwhelp ever. 750ml. 7.8%.

750ml bottle from Ross on Wye. Golden colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, strawberry, caramel. Taste is tart, tangy, apple, fleshy, strawberry notes, caramel, with woody oak barrel, some funk and acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.
