A hazed golden ale with no head. In aroma, loads of fruity esters, light herbaceous character, wild grass, light citrus pulp, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light lemongrass, citrus pulp, nice lighting herbaceous hops, light fusel, pleasant. Bottle from Placentia, at GRMs tasting.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of dry citrus and tart lemon with a bit of light grains and yogurt underlying. Flavor has a nice tart earthy citrus with some lemon and a light grain backbone.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, medium white creamy head, good lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, Brett dankness, lime, guava, lemon, peach. Flavor is light plus tart, super fruity, citrus, tropical notes, muted funk. Medium body, soft carbonation. I am a sucker for dry hopped sours, and this is a good one.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. No lacing.
The smell started off with a bitter lemon rind, sweet grassy, white pepper and a light citrusy pulpy flesh. Balanced vinous notes hit nicely. Tropical fruits come out sweetly like pineapple as it warms.
The flavor is a nice balancing act of sweet tropical fruits, grassiness, and citrusy pulpy fkesh sliding into some sour to bitter vinous and citrusy rind qualities. Tropical fruitiness runs into aftertaste with drying vinous qualities. Moderately dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Carbonation feels good. Sour and sweetness seems to balance between wet and dry feels on my tongue.
Overall, really nice American Wild ale that I would love to have again.

Draft 6 oz pour at Urban Family. Cloudy golden yellownpour with a thin fizz head. Soft, hoppy sour aroma. Love the hoppy sour style popping up. Flavor is hop bitter up front, with a sour nelon, and smoke like character to follow. Definitely unexpected as a whole. Juicy, hoppy finish. Interesting, prime unique beer here.

I bought the bottle bc it was decently priced. 500mL for $7.50, much less than what Urban Family has been Family recently. So, maybe this convinces them to being form the prove a bit. A very hazy pale gild colored beer. In usually stay away from hops and tartness, not my bag. But this was only lacto and I thought I’d give it a shot. Despite the cutra, I life the hop mix. And the lacto is very tart, drying, moderate acidity and sharp. The nose freaky is a fruit cocktail. The flavor is similar worth the added tartness and acidity. The downside its it comes of as a very tart radler without the sweetness. Which aint bad. I want a little more body ay the back end of this beer. This would make for a good brunch beer, a bit like a mimosa with the orange citric hops and lighter body. Not bad but not my thang.

500 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big sour lemon, lime, apricot, papaya, guava, mango, berry, pineapple, white wine, green apple, orange peel, pepper, hay, straw, floral, musty funk, light leather, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness. Fantastic aromas with awesome complexity and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, citrus/tropical hops, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour lemon, lime, apricot, papaya, guava, mango, berry, pineapple, white wine, green apple, orange peel, pepper, hay, straw, floral, musty funk, light leather, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/acidic tartness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, lime, apricot, papaya, guava, mango, berry, pineapple, white wine, green apple, orange peel, pepper, hay, straw, musty funk, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance fruity/funky/acidic yeast, citrus/tropical hops, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from acidity/spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately acidic, and lightly grainy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an insane dry hopped sour ale! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance fruity/funky/acidic yeast, citrus/tropical hops, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced acidity. A really amazing offering all around.

On tap at Saraveza Farmhouse Festival, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dry hopping, including tropical fruits, and citrus tartness. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus tartness, tropical fruits, and dry hopping. Well-balanced and lovely dry hopped. Very good.
