Tap at Valhalla, thx Zhenya! Shiny murky yellow body, off-white head. Smooth white grape and resin in the aroma. Smooooth taste, clean, tons of white grapes, low citrus, low to no bitterness. Solid! Remarkably non-herbal for a NZ hop beer. And no hop burn hahah, mellowed out.

Sweetish, juicy tropical fruity and slightly dankish with some herbal hops, pine, citrus and hints of vinous grapes. Pretty good hop juice

Opaque, thick head. The aroma has a bit of allium, actually, and after that it's a bit more muddled. On the palate, a bit of an oaty note - not sure if they use them or not - and also it has a relatively low bitterness. There's some melon, pear, stone fruit. That sort of thing. Good hop character. The malts are thicker, richer, in that creamy sort of way that again tells me some oats are there. Some moments of good hop character, but the balance seems a bit off.

473mL can, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Nose has lots of bright tangy hops, some sludgy chalkiness, and some muddled earthiness. Flavour is not as expressive, with the sludgy, chalky palate obscuring the usually vibrant Nelson expression. It’s not egregiously chalky, and there is no hopburn, but still not a great hazy.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 24 Sept 2025; thanks mom). Cloudy yellow with white head. Dank gas fumes and gooseberry, creamy texture, finish doesn't linger much.

473mL can. Pours opaque yellow with a white head. Super juicy tropical fruit and gooseberries on the nose. Flavour has a similar profile with tropical fruits and gooseberries, but it's drowned out a bit by the muddled, sludgy character of the palate. It starts out nice, but it just can't help being a hazy.
