Tap. Dark Amber, off-white cream. Chewy, light ryeish dark malt edges, dry creamy, a bit hay and grain retronasal. Good chewy experience.

Very weird. Seems like all the bad elements of milds and ambers come together now. Pours dark brown without much head. Paint varnish and rust with some citrus. Nasty aftertang here with some astringence.

Draft pour at the 2017 DC Beer Festival. Poured a clear, dark amber color, nutty color with a small very slightly off-white head. Aroma was lots of nutty caramel notes, sweet malts. Flavor was sweet grain, malts. Easy to drink, though a bit thin - however probably perfect on a nice warm day when you don’t want something overly hoppy.

4 oz pour on draft at Manor Hill. Clear dark brownish amber with beige head. Aromas of caramel, malt. Tastes of caramel, light grains, malt. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Interesting beer, almost thought it was the wrong beer from the color.
