F: no. C: dark brown. A: banana, dried fruits, molasses, brown sugar, dates, caramel. T: malt, dark dried fruits, plums, alcohol, raisins, dark bread, medium to full body, lower carbonation, there is on head but the beer itself seem to be not spoiled, quite good winter beer, 0,33l bottle from Prik&Tik Kampenhout.

Donkerrood bier zonder schuim. Smaak is zoet en krachtig met sporen van drop, anijs en een niet te definiëren smaak. Is verder gewoon erg goed en apart.

21/02/2016 @home - 33 cl bottle from Prik & Tik Edelare. Very dark brown with small creamy tanned head. Nose is ripe fruits, licorice. Taste is ripe fruits, sweetness, licorice, herbs. Accents from the typical winterbeer bit slightly different. Light creamy mouthfeel.

Clear purple brown beer, creamy beige irregular head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty spicy, cloves, lot of dried fruits, banana, caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sugary, caramel, cloves, bit sourish, little bitter, banana. Aftertaste: bit hoppy, spicy, alcohol burn, overripe banana, way too spicy, lots of cloves, sugary.

Bottle sampled at Essen Winterbier festival 2015. Appears clear brown with a small tan head. Aroma of licorice, overripe dark fruit, veggies, caramel and toffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a creamy, tan head. Aroma is roasted caramelish, breadish and slight herbal. Mild sweet, roasted. Light phenolic fruity. Light bitter, subdued spiced impression. Lingering malty and slight phenolic into the finish.
