We're no strangers to brewing the traditional styles that inspire us; this follows that line. As Autumn rolls into winter, we hark back to times spent in cosy pubs with fires roaring. Appearance is cola-brown, with a 1-2 finger thick beige head. Aroma- nutty malt, fruitcake, caramel, dark fruits notes hints, hops, bit of date in there. Taste- toffee, caramel, hop bitterness, dark malt, bit of milk chocolate, toasty brown bread, malty caramel.

1/3 cask pint @ Cloudwater taproom, London. A droite sur la photo.
Brune foncée, col épais crémeux blnac-cassé.
Arôme sur une belle base maltée caramel, pâle, finement chocolaté et biscuitée - pointe d'amertume herbacée en balance, ainsi qu'un effet de 'burnt malt'.
Palais est soyeux avec un apport signature du cask - malté tirant sur le grillé et biscuité le tout rehaussé par un plaisant apport houblonné - floral, terreux, feuille de tabac séchée et finalité herbacée. Je retrouve une sensation d'épices hivernales - cannelle / girofle? avec un léger effet de sucre brun en finalité, sans pour cela être trop douce.

Cask at 73 Enid Street, 31/10/2025.
Deep mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is biscuit, dusty hops, toffee, dried fruit esters.
Taste comprises dark malts, toasted brown sugars, chocolate biscuit, light spice, toffee.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness.
Solid cask brown.

Cask at 73 Enid Street. A clear dark mahogany red brown coloured pour with a a lasting loose beige head. Aroma is nutty, waxy, tobacco, woody pine, light tang,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, layered malts, tabacco, leather, toffee, pine. Light green apple note. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow cask condition. Not bad. Lacks the depth of the kernel brown ale.

Pours clear reddish brown with a decent off white cap. Aroma is caramel, toffee, bitter hop, good malt backbone. Taste is loads of caramel, malt, toffee, sone bittering notes on the finish. Solid brown ale
