Sampled from the tap at BarleyPop. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy tart fruits and straw with a touch of lime and a touch of ginger. Flavor has a tart light citrus and a lime bite with growing ginger and a bit of earthy straw backing.

Slight haze. Thin head. Light ginger on the nose, with a touch of citrus. Tart and gingery. Lime ends up adding a lot of sourness, taking it out of balance.

On tap at Southern Grist, pours a cloudy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma is loaded on the tart lime, with maybe a hint of ginger. Flavour is a bit more pronounced with the ginger, along with sour lime. Juicy and lightly spicy. This is nice.

Draft at the source. Pours a clear, silver ginger-ale color with a small head that dissipates quickly. Straight up Moscow mule nose. Herb, lime & ginger dominate with strong limeade notes. Thin bodied, sweet, sour and salty. Watery on the palate though and finishes watery as well. SG set out to make a Moscow mule inspired beer and nailed it. Just not my cup of tea. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nashville Mule on 08 Sep 2017 at 21:15 - Score: 6. Original review text: Straight up Moscow mule nose. This really doesnt come together well like Frankenstein. Lime and ginger and wood all mismatched. Hazy golden pour. Tangy and astringent pour. Tap at brewpub.
