Frothy white fair mostly diminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottled. A cloudy red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of nuts, caramel, dried fruits, yeast, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, nuts, dried fruits, yeast, and caramel, leading to a dry finish. 7/2/7/3/14

Bottle from Superbrugsen @ Home. Pours almost clear amber with a light tan head. Aroma of malt, light yeast, caramel, light wood. Flavor is sweet, malty, light yeast, caramel, light wood, light nutty. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish. 11112

Bottle, 6.2%. Caramelly aroma, but the sort of biscuity, nutty type. Cloudy brownish colour. OK stable tan head. The flavour is ok caramelly with the same notes of nuts and biscuit as the aroma, but tastes a little maltier than expected from the aroma. The yeast is fairly clean and does not resemble a typical Belgian dubbel as far as I am concerned.

Aroma: Malt and fruits.
Flavour: Malty and fruity sweet with notes of spices. Aftertaste is sweet.
Colour: Dark amber with an offwhite head.

Xmas rating No 5 25/26.Amber colour with small head.Aroma is mild sweet with flavor of dried fruit and caramel also nots of yeast and berries nice and smooth finish ok beer by style.

Nearly clear amber, light beige head. Metallic, caramely and yeasty aroma. Sweet, yeasty flavour, some perfumy and metallic notes too.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque, murky, orangey amber with a lacing, off-white head. Yeasty and very Belian aroma with some dried fruit. Medium body, sweet dried, dark fruitiness, Belgian yeast and friendly phenols. No real bitterness. Not a huge Dubbel, but quite enjoyable and well made. 261025
