Keg at Kerrera, Guildford. Hazy-opaque dark gold. Foamy if not entirely impressive white head. Aroma is sweeter than I was expecting - malts and a sugariness. The hop is suprisingly restrained, although it does supply herbal dankness and a peripheral vinous hint. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Just doesn't do it for me.

[44cl can from the Beer52 shop.] A hazy pale amber pour with a thin white rim; crisp resinous aroma with some stone fruit; rich grape taste with overpowering alcohol; then a long, dry, fruity finish; and a pleasant warmth in the chest. Not quite what I was expecting from Nelson Sauvin.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a fine fading white head. Aroma is jammy citrus, white grape, midget gems, some mellow nelson on the nose. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded base malts, light wheat, jammy orange, citrus, white grape, mellow mellon, Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Not bad, but not huge on the classic nelson vibes .

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 07/12/2025.
Moderately hazed deep amber to golden topped with an off white cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is orange marmalade, grass, grapefruit, pine needle.
Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, pine needle, mandarin, hint of mango.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light juicy come grassy hop bitterness
Decent enough DIPA if lacking Nelson expression.

Can. Near clear paleish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a medium sweetness. 2025 Nelson delivers again. Light winey grape, a little skunk, perhaps a touch of gooseberry if you are looking for it. Light and semi dry finish. Not the most complex of DIPAs but after many years of bloody flaccid NS, I am digging this years crop a lot and it's nicely delivered by Siren.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of flower stems, white wine and lemon jelly. Flavour of grass, orange and lemongrass. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A very good example of the Nelson Sauvin hop.
