Knots Natural Beer is a traditional dark brown top-fermented beer with refermentation in the bottle. This beer is a creation of beer phenomenon Marc Knops who brews this beer with passion in his brewery in Reets according to personal taste. A Knots is almost black due to the caramel and roasting malts provides a malty and slightly roasted full flavor.

Thank you! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2015. Apperantly the first beer from a brewer who previously worked @ De Halve Maan, Huyghe & Achel. Dark brown amber, little tanned head. Nose is sweet licorice, umami, nearly going toward broth, herbal, spices. Taste is herbal, licorice, sweet candy, sugar, herbal, faint umami,… Fizzy,… Very slightly above the grey muss of dull Belgians but nothing to really be bothered by.
