At the source: pours deep gold with white head. Aroma is dirty candy. Taste is sweet and candyfull. Kind of off balance and not very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is caramel and toasted grain. Medium body, citrus, grain, light bitterness, good.

Bottle. Cloudy dull tan. Med foam. Has a touch of herbal hop but mostly yeasty. Lots of bitterness but a husky, oversparged malt character. Unclean.

Pours clear golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grass and floral. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long grassy and floral finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. An unclear orange colored beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma has pine cones, lemon zest, some orange notes and pale malts. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, dealing easily with the light malty sweetness. Pine cones and citrus fruits, and a lasting zesty, orangey, bitter finish. 150617

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a small fast dissipating white head and some lacing. Aroma is urine, grass, corn, caramel, lemons, dirty leaves. Flavor is fairly tart, astringent, sharp, medium sweet, some grass, urine. This bad boy appears infected to me. At least I hope it is.
