Bottle thanks to Tom. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong smoke, roast, wood, ash. Medium mouth, strong ash, smoke, bourbon, wood, light finish, good.

Tasting at Matt’s
Black color, small beige head. Strong aroma of charred wood, with hints of chocolate, tobacco, spices, leather (8.5). Smooth mouthfeel, nice dark caramel and some dark chocolate flavor, moderately sweet, moderately smoked, with nice leather character.
Excellent balanced beer with multiple layers.

Got the bottle at Ted Stephens Airport, where they have a shop with a bunch of Alaskan craft beverages you can buy to take on the plane. Dark brown, lots of smoke, with some fairly rich molassesy malts. A fairly rich brew, nice balance, and a sweet smokey character.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is quite highly smoked, with peaty notes, ash tray and light roasted malt. Flavour is prominent on the peaty smoke, with medium roast and sludgy smoky notes. A bit murky and muffled, but decently executed. Not overly pleasant, but decent.
