My husband has better taste in beer than I give him credit for.

Can thanks to Drake! I'm so tired... it's not even 8pm, so I NEED to have another beer to keep me awake. Honey golden, hint of haze, off-white head. Nose is lavender, honey, light fruitiness (I don't specifically get dates, but OK). Flavor is lavender, honey, again a fruit... oh yea that's date. I might say fig at first, but do i really know the difference between the two? I mean I could eat Date Newtons and call them Fig Newtons I'm sure. Anyway, this is good. I like it.

12oz can. Aggressive oddball lavender/date aroma...not that appetizing. The lavender takes center stage. Dates in the background. Really oddball stuff, sort of has a Belgian-like thing going on, minus the yeast and finesse. Quite unique, but not that good.

Can. Indeed Honey Ale 7.2% 20 IBU Surprisingly reddish in color with a big floral herbal sweet aroma. The aroma is very much in the cough drop/syrup arena. The spicy lavender and honey/dates is transformed on the medium body with a dry finish. The taste is really good with soft spicy character, sweet cookie like flavor that grows on you. One to split and probably somewhat divisive. 3.7 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Kind of a weird herbal beer. Aroma is ginger and some other perfumes and a little bit of malt. Appearance has a slightly scummy head. Flavor is strong Ginger and some other herbs and spices that's not what I was really looking forward to. I'll drink it but I wish it was over.

16oz can pours a clear caramel amber with no head. Nose of hand soap, berry soda pop. Flavor has berry, lavender, cheap grape soda. Slick finish. Bad.

From a bottle at the July DC tasting. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was... like lavender soap. Not unpleasant, but not super pleasant for something I was planning on drinking. They hit the mark for what they were going for. Lavender. Floral. Soap. Light honey.
