[1/27/17] Bottle/Can/Crowler/Growler at a bottle share at Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. Black. Cognac, coffee, chocolate, roast, vanilla, wood. Full-bodied. Great.

Draught @ CBC 2016 [ Yellow Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Oksnehallen Vesterbro, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As 18th Street Bitches Bank - Cognac Barrel Aged ].Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, coconut, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coconut, chocolate, dark malt, alcohol, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160513]

Draught@CBC2016. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is fruity, some wooden and liquorice notes as well as some burnt sugar. Flavour is burnt sugar, liquorice, some alcohol and mild slight chili kind of burning notes.

Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, oak and brown sugar finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
