From the darkness came a light, offering warmth and compassion from the cold night. Nestled in the palms of the curious adventurer, Lanthrone relinquishes complexities that dance in the twilight light sparks from the scorching of oaken barrels. Illumination of one’s senses culminates in a vanilla, spice, coconut, caramel, and cherry glow. An imperial amber ale brewed with numerous caramel malts, Munich malts, and oats; aged for 13 months in bourbon barrels.

Tap at CBC ’16. Clear brown with a ring off white head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, barrel, booze and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet. Medium to full bodied with an alcohol burn in the finish and soft carbonation.

Tap@ CBC 2016. Mahogany color, thin white head. Sweet bready, spicy stingy, some Belgian yeast. Rhum notes. Flavor has sweetness, caramel, toffee , vanilla. Quite nice.

Bottle at the De Garde Anniversary. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is toffee, wood, vanilla, spice. Thick mouth chewy roast, toffee, spice, coconut, nice bourbon, really enjoyed this.

375ml bottle at the de garde anniversary party. pours out a amber color topped with a small head. nose is oak bourbon barrel vanilla brown sugar toffee some coconut and marshmallow. Taste is more of the roast bourbon barrel vanilla brown sugar coconut and marshmallow sweetness.
