New edition of Øllets Konge. Double-mashed on Maris Otter Extra Pale. Gently hopped and aged for six months.

Vintagebrew: The yeast is started on a yeast culture from another beer type. This transfers a certain portion of the color and flavor from the mother brew's yeast cake to this brew. Brewed once a year, always with the same recipe but on different yeast cultures.

2024 mother beer: Imperial Stout, fermented on White Labs WLP004 Irish Ale.

Thanks Henrik! Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is ripe fruits, quite alcoholic with some sweet malts and mild grainy tones too. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some mild gluelike tones with alcohol pushing through too, which makes it feel a bit messy.
