Good stuff. Nice toothy big stout. Iodine, earth, roast, burnt malts, cocoa. Full bodied. Bittersweet finish. Sound.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma of dark malts, dark chocolate, treacle, liquorice. Taste is rich and malty, dark chocolate, treacle, caramel, liquorice, some dark fruit, roast malts/coffee bitterness and a boozy warming finish. Full bodied, smooth. Excellent straight up impy.
The fact it took them 7 years to brew one without adjuncts is outrageous, especially considering this is actually really good - they weren't hiding behind adjuncts masking bad flavour profiles.
