On tap at Brasserie Saint James, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Nose has some reasonable funk to it, with tart plums and candi sugar. Flavour is sweet and sour, with tart plums, light vinegar, light funky and candi sugar. Why is there so much sweetness here? This is supposed to be a lambic? I guess it's passable as a sweet & sour beer but as a lambic, it's far off the mark.

Bottle at GABF. Pours a hazy purple gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is plum skin, oak, funk. Thin body, oak, plum, light funk, light tartness, good.

Opaque, pinkish-pale. Thin bubbly head. Nice aroma - balanced brett, tartness and plum. The tartness is restrained, the fruit lends sweetness. More subtle than expected.

Capped 750 shared by Marcus. Translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is mildly horseblanket. With fruit. Med body. Flavor is sharply lacto? Plums seem tart. Nice, easy drinker.

I had a few samples of this at GABF 2014. Yeast aroma with some fruit, but an aroma that must have lacto in it; and you know it is going to be sour. Sour flavor with prominent yeast and some fruit flavor, and a sour finish. Not very sour as far as lambic goes, but this is a sour beer and a good effort for an American brewery.
