Bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. nose is nice big roast malts bourbon barrel vanilla brown sugar chocolate notes a nice coffee touch. Taste is more of the heavy roast malts milk chocolate sweetness ash char notes and a nice coffee bourbon barrel combo.

(375ml 2015 bottle shared @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Feb 16 2016) Pitch black with a decent lingering tan head and lace. Huge nose of bourbon, toasted coconut, dark chocolate, coffee, cane sugar, some alcohol. Flavour sweet initially, burnt sugar, fudge, bourbon, toasted coconut and chocolate macaroons, vanilla. Finish is dry and hot with bourbon all the way to the fore over dry grain and a bit of oak. Holy barrel. Medium bodied with fairly light carb. Rather nice but the barrel could have been dialed back a touch to let the beer through, and the price was a little obscene for what it is.

Black color, medium head. Full bodied, smooth, and fairly sweet; good dark chocolate flavor with a medium liquorice presence, some bourbon barrel. A bit boozy in the final.
Very good, excessive though.

375mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out loads of cocoa upfront, followed by some vanilla from the barrels, and a touch of roast. Flavour is thick, with rich mocha notes upfront that dominates, with a touch of barrel'd vanilla notes. Thick palate that is thankfully rather easy to drink. Very nice stuff.

375 ml Bottle thanks to T. j. Black color with thick lasting tan head. Aroma is deep dark chocolate, bitter coffee grounds and deep caramel.
Flavor is mostly the same but nice. Deep layer of malts, soy sauce. The bourbon is very mild but the base stout is pretty nice. Fuller body with a decent mouthfeel.

Bomber (22 oz 2013 release) from XL Grindhouse bought a couple years ago. Nose is big vanilla, light bourbon, and chocolate. Black with a small cinnamon tan head that laces lightly. Flavor is lightly sweet with vanilla, oak, and chocolate. Very nice and smooth.
