Draught@CBC2016. Black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is coffee, dark fruits, some roated malts, chocolate and a bit vanilla tones. Flavour is coffee, some roated notes with mild cocoa and liquorice. A bit alcohol too, but suits in well. Straight forward and nice.

Bottle. A black one, topped by a light tan head. The aroma has lots of delicious coffee, with roasted malts, chocolate, some dark bread and alcohol. Hoppy hints. It’s full bodied, warming and sweet on the palate, with coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Bitterness, alcohol and a faint note of licorice. Lasting roasted, coffee-ish finish. A heavy and pleasant beer indeed. 170128
