A really nice and balanced fruit lambic

(Draft at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 17 Sep 2025) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with foamy white head. Fruity nose with citrus, yellow plums and barnyard. Fruity, tart taste with notes of citrus, yellow plums, barnyard and a dry and tart finish. No bitterness. More than medium body, dry. Funky and fresh with a generous plum character. Very nice.

Very high sourness, med-light tartness too. Dry, low sweetness. Med-light horsey funk. Little else present. Good, but feels a bit simple and definitely out of balance.

Tap at Beergeek Bar, thx mcberko! Hazy golden body, no head. Plummy dusty sweetish aroma. Lean, dry taste, salty, dusty, plum, simple, okay

On tap at BeerGeek Bar, pours a cloudy dull orange, almost no head. Aroma is full of musty plums, gentle funk, and leathery notes. Flavour is moderately juicy, with plenty of plums, medium acidity, and subtle funk. Not the most complex but nice incorporation of the apricot. Good stuff.
