Pours black with a nice sheet of dark head, dissipates quickly though. Aroma is rich, full of dark malts, and really lots of coffee. Medium body. Silky smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is amazing. Beautifully balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and malt. Nice amount of caramel and the Guatemalan coffee is married perfectly into this ensemble. Some cocoa, but not nearly as dominant as the coffee. Some vanilla. A really enjoyable bitterness balances the sweetness. Finishes rather long, a tad warming, with more rich coffee. What an amazing Porter! Without a question among the best I've had. Perfectly balanced and delicious.

0,33 l bottle. Pours almost pitch black with big beige lasting head. Aroma of coffee, cocoa along with some toasted malt, vanilla. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is quite full, texture sticky and carbonation average. Finish is long, more coffee and lingering bitter cocoa. Head was extra bitter, but it got more rounded as it dissipated and even better as beer warms.

Mild würziger Antrunk. Deutliche Noten von Kaffee, stark röstig, die Trockenheit stört kaum. Geringe Bitterkeit, leicht würzig, langer Nachhall. 10/9/11/11//11
