On tap at Torn Label, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of coffee upfront, followed lactose and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is coffee-centric, with plenty of sweetened cold brew character dominating. Simple but pleasant enough. Not bad.

Draft/Fest. A- Coffee, cocoa, roasty. A- Black color, black liquid, tan head. T- Coffee, cocoa, wheat, roasty. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- This was nice. Being a wheat stout I wasn’t sure what to expect. Figured it would have a lot of grains or something in the aroma. Not so, just a good tasting stout filled with coffee.

Shaker pint draft at Green Room Burgers & Beer in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is an opaque black brown with a small light tan head. The aroma is roast, softly char malt, with coffee as a well integrated undertone. The taste is a blend of the soft char coffee roast of the nose and wheat grain. As the beer warms, the flavors of the beer meld really well. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a dry roast finish. Fun, unique, well executed beer. I think this beer will do really well around town.
