Raspberry Jam pays tribute to the groundbreaking sights and sounds of psychedelic rock. Light and refreshing, with its crisp natural tartness balanced by the addition of raspberries, this Berliner Weisse was initially developed at our brewpub Tallgrass Tap House. When it became a huge hit, we decided it should “go on tour” as part of the Explorer Series. Pucker up and rock on.

Canned on 4/11/16. So this beer is definitely raspberry jam and berliner mixed together. So, Tallgrass definitely hit their mark. However, the berliner is not as lacto-y as I like and the jamminess is too raspberry. Light tartness and light body. Head is initially big but fades. Clear golden body, I am torn by this beer, its doing exactly what it intends but I feel like I am drinking a bastardization. Why must beer be so hard for my head.

12oz can pours a clear gold with no head. Nose is jam, lemon, orange, perfume. Flavor is lemon, white berry, white wine, Rose wine, mild yogurt. Slick finish.

Can at the Local DC Tasting. Clear pale yellow with off-white head. Aromas of raspberries, light herbs. Tastes of raspberries, light herbs. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Bottle at the July DC tasting. Poured a clear golden, fizzy yellow color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma was very pleasant raspberry tartness. Very tasty.

From a can at the DC tasting July 10, 2016 it is a clear gold color with a slight head. The aroma is raspberry and the taste is slightly bitter sweet taste with honey of raspberry jam light fruity finish

Draft at Parkville fest. Hazy to cloudy golden color, thick white head. Nice aroma of overripe raspberry. Taste is lightly tart berries. Very tasty.
