A beer with flavors reminiscent of our favorite Norwegian christmas dessert. Notes of cloudberry, caramel and vanilla in the forefront with a pleasant malty finish makes this the perfect holiday treat

Bottle. Unclear deep orange golden body with a dense tan head that fades quite fast. Aroma has some malt, hint of caramel, bread or dough with some kind of cloud berries (cant really decide if it’s real or artificial – they tend to smell a bit strange anyway ref. Lakka) and a hint of acidity. Flavor has this malty kind of sweetness, not just malt, not exactly caramel, maybe honey or just bread dough or at least not completely finished bread? Together with yeast, sweet berries, soda pop and some acidity. Medium body and quite strong in aftertaste. Pretty weird and indeterminable, but tastes better then feared from aroma. OK, this is probably not a beer to take to seriously, its quite enjoyable from the “interesting” or fun aspect – still not a beer I would ever by again.

15/VIII/20 - 33cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering Summer 2020, BB: 14/VIII/20 (exactly one day too late! :p ) (2020-761) Thanks to ElManana for sharing the bottle!

Clear amber reddish beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of raspberry jam, some raspberry jaffa cakes, soft acidity, slightly bitter. Aftertaste: sweet touch, more raspberry jam, nice acidity, good stuff actually, very likeable given the low expectations.

Amber. Uklar. Lavt tett skum. Sukkertøyaroma. Smaken søte bær. Uvariert. Kunne fungere til dessert. Eller som dessert.

Bottle 330ml @ Gunnfryd
Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, cream and some artificial tasting berry. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long malt, berry and yeasty finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A clear amber colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is of the fruity and sugary kind, cloudberry-ish, with vanilla, some caramel and bread. It's medium bodied and sweet on the palate, nicely carbonated, with flavors of vanilla, fruit and berries and sugar. Medium length fruity, berryish finish. Well, it has resemblence of cloudberries and cream, but too artificial and sweetish. 181229
