Draft pour at Brouwers, for their anniversary party. Happy 12th! Shiny golden pour with a patchy fizz head. Soft peach aroma, sour, some straw. A good level of sour here. 8/10. Flavorful, with a late straw reminder. A fun sour, but has some odd characteristics. Not bad.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy golden color, small head. Smells like ass, then funky yeasts; weird but I can’t day it’s bad. Dry and lean mouthfeel; too strong yeast flavor, cheesy; autolysis? Sour.
Not very good.

Light gold. Leathery, bretty nose with light straw malts. Brett takes over the character, light bisuity malts but they don’t make much of an impression. Overall a relatively simple sour.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of acidity, medium oak presence, and some subdued wild yeast. Flavour is pretty subdued, with medium-high acidity, light oak, and some wild yeast. Dry on the finish, with pretty low complexity. Not very impressed with this. Nothing wrong with it, just leaves something to be desired.
