330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, dark amber colour, tiny (coffee?) chunks floating around, small, frothy, off-white head on top, insipid appearance overall. Coffee and orange aroma. Taste is slightly bitter, bitterness is due to coffee and hop, slightly sweet malty basis, hoppy interludes of orange; soft palate, flat carbonation. Basically viable, but appears heterogeneous, unbalanced, inharmonious - requires technical refinement for better homogeneity, coherence and uniformity.

Bottle from Drank van de Meisjes, batch 186 BB 08.08.2016, large sample. Slight hazy amber color, big rocky head. Aroma of a fruit bowl with peach, pineapple and melon, soft spicy and roasted coffee. Medium bitterness in taste, coffee spicyness, some roast. Quite delicate on the coffee, which is nicely balanced into the base beer. Bit thin in body, high carbonation. I like the way the coffee is subtle, really blending in with the base beer, but the base beer could have been better.

Bottled@Speakeasy, Tallinn. Hazy orange colour with a mediumsized off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel, mild coffee, some floral and fruity notes. Flavour is similar, but everything in a quite mild way. Surprisingly easy going beer.

On tap at Bierspecialeitencafe De Grendelpoort, Valkenburg, South Limburg, Netherlands, Wednesday 29th June 2016, Pours copper colour with a white sticky head, lovely bitterness, lots and lots of Simcoe hops, a concentrated streaky resin and citrussy bite, juicy as you like. Nice softness in the mouth, this is a brilliant, beer of the holiday, had to have another. Wonderfully dry finish. A7 A5 T9 P4 Ov17 4.2

Bottle @ home. Clear orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts and hops, light coffee in the background. Taste malts, firm hoppynesss and firm coffee! Wow well done! This is one hell of a blend: superb hoppyness, fruity hops even, and great coffee mixed together almost perfectly! Don’t think I’ve ever had a better coffee-IPA, although there probably aren’t that many around, but still. Great brew imo.
