Bottle at home. Aroma is fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit, pine resin, touch of coffee in the aftertaste. Flavour is nicely bitter. Body is medium. The coffee is more subtle than I expected in this IPA. Pretty good one.

On tap at Bierlokaal de Uiver. Clear orange-amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of fruity hop, some citrus, hint of berries, some spruce, toast, caramel. Flavour is medium sweet, caramel, light hoppy, hint of roast and toast, probably from the coffee but I would never have guessed that this was a coffee IPA if I hadn’t known. Bitter finish, light to medium bodied. OK.

Tasting glass Nitro @ Beerlovers Bar. Darker orange with a big creamy off-white head. Nose is weird coffee, herbal coffee, lightly vegetable coffee, herbs, old coffee, lightly miky, pine resin. Taste is weird grainy coffee that doesn’t blend at all withe base which is milky pine resin, cheese, base is bit too yeasty, too sweet, coffee gets almost a bit sour, herbal, harsh coffee. Coffee really does not blend with the base, profile isn’t too grate. Body is creamy mixed with heavy coffee grounds, both parts really don’t work well together, blend very badly. Doesn’t work.

Copper colour with thin head. A very intense aroma and flavour of roasted coffee, grass and light malts. All the time in the background there’s a floral hop note.

Oranje geel bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zuur met iets van thee en een heel licht koffie invloed.

BB 08.08.2016. Not as fresh as could be, but still quite hoppy. Coffee present in the aftertaste, subtle but clearly there.

Bottle from Estonia. Amber and hazy with quite a large head. Some hints of coffee, caramel, citrus. Not as fresh as the aroma tells. Aroma is in good balance, taste is a bit too coffee.
