pours clear brown, settles dark brown with a small creamy light brown head.
aroma feels thin, but loaded with adjuncts, flavoring stuff, vanilla, milk chocolate, the white caramelly'ish bits in toblerone, only faint roasted malts.
flavor is milk chocolate, vanilla, white caramel, white chocolate, a faint strange burnt caramelly bitterness, a pear or apple like fruity note.. hardly any beer flavor, only all the added stuff - and the flavors does not really feel like they might be side effects of yeasts or malts and the proces.
In my book, the base beer is WAY too weak for all the stuff put in it. The same stuff put into a heavy double mashed imp stout might become interesting, but right now its candy and vodka in a water bucket for me.

Keg draught at the Ale Pole, Daventry. Dark brown, opaque with a smattering of beige head. The aroma, baby, is ruthless. Sweet milky chocolate, nougat, nutty notes. They nailed it. The taste is so close to too sweet but the caramel lashings are just too lively to complain about. Nougat in the aftertaste. Medium body with carbonation on the heavy side. Very recommended.
