Clear golden and lightly copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre of tall off-white head. Aroma of super fresh and very fragrant new world hops that show a lot of citrus, tropical fruits and bits of resin as well - very fragrant. Light-bodied; Super strong hop flavours throughout with a lot of tropical fruits, some grain, a little yeastiness and a good deal of resinous and lightly piney bitterness, all from the hops. Aftertaste is smooth, simple and very hoppy, especially for the ABV! Overall, a very nice beer that fits the style exactly - somehow they packed in a ton of flavour into two crazy things - something with an ABV this low and somehow into a LAGER!?! This needs to be recategorised, since it isn’t an ale at all, which makes it that much more impressive. Probably one of the best lagers i’ve ever had in my life, with Hop Pocket Pils way up there as well - this is just as good, with way less alcohol - amazing! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Giant Food in Falls Church, Virginia on 04-March-2016 for US$1,75 sampled at home in Washington on 12-June-2016.
