Very cute 500mL bottle. Since all the rating are from 2016, I'll assume this is the same batch. Found this on a self at State Line and it had enough dust to make me believe it's been over a year. Lots of imports hiding on their selves. Though none of it tastes old. It's a nice blend of beers. Dough and cobwebby saison with a mildly meaty smoke. A little fruit on the nose and maybe a bit of phenolic band aid as well. A little mineral lightly bitter aftertaste. Effervescence throughout, slightly tingling nose and spikey mouthfeel. Definitely a lightly smoked saison. So, it checks a lot of boxes but doesn't amazingly complete either. Wish I could have tried it a year ago.

On tap at The Hay Merchant. Pours a clear yellow gold with medium creamy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong smoke, ash, meat drippings. Medium mouth, smoke, ash, char, light malt, good.

Draft at Churchkey. Very slightly hazy golden yellow color. Hige char aroma. Taste is more subtle, burnt hay and smoldering straw. Nice.

3oz pour at Max’s Belgian Fest 2016 pours a clear gold with some white head. Nose is mild, light smoke, light candy, light wood. Flavor is bigger, more ham hock and smoke, candy and honey, white grape, a little pepper. Full bodied finish. Cool riff.
