Shared 12.7 oz. bottle. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a foamy beige head. Aroma of sweet and tart cherries. Taste is sour cherries, vinous notes, earth, roasted malt notes, chalk, bread. It’s all over the place and doesn’t really come together.

375mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt and dark cherry skins. Flavour is moderately tart, with light roast, and tart cherry skins. Light on the palate, with a nicely toasty and tart finish. Body is light and a bit jagged. Don't think this combo works too well. Meh.

Subtle both as a stout and a sour, yet endearingly so. Pours a dark brown, light and bubbly, host to a busy armada of yeasty beasties swirling around the pint. Aroma’s a bit weak, mild cherry tartness mixing with a faint soured background, nary a bit of stoutness to be found. Tastes pretty nice, though, easygoing roasted chocolate notes mingling with a moderate cherry tang. Slight coffee underneath the boisterous carbonation, and the roasted cocoa hangs around long into a semisweet-n-sour cherry fade. Wild yeast provides an earthy, sour undertone, yet the stout itself needs a little more heft to offset the cherry tang. As it is, not great, but enjoyable.
