Can drunk 8/11/18.
Moderately hazy, bright orange-cantaloupe. Small, off-white head atop shows low retention.
Heavy bubble gum, tangerine juice, melon, mango and light lime rise up initially and it's extremely fruity and very prototypical NE IPA. Cracker-heavy malts behind lead to light notes of honey. No alcohol noted, but there is some twang to it as it warms and breathes, in the form of heavy, resin-laced papaya, punchy pineapple and light pine.
In the mouth it's soft and fruity with comforting malts up front quickly drying and growing heavily crackery with biscuit textures, as well. Juicy tangerine, lemon and mango is a bit short-lived, as strong grapefruit, unripe pineapple, lime and, eventually, pine seem to butt-in. Definitely some good and bad here and even if you take it as a hybrid, it's still too twangy and resinous on the finish. Engaging carbonation and no alcohol or flaw noted.

4 oz. draft at Maine Beer Cafe, Kittery. Almost cloudy gold with white head with some lacing. Aroma is mild orange, subtle grapefruit, and maybe a tangerine hint. Flavor is heavy on the citrus, weak tropical notes.
Malt is mild in the backbone and displays a dry finish. Hides the over 7% nice. Overall, slightly above average for me. Not top tier but nice for sure.
