On tap at Republic, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is very piney, with lots of earthy hops, plenty of pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of pine, earthy malt and biscuity notes. A little too piney and bitter. Decent.

Red IPA. Pours clear copper, medium beige head, great lacing. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, caramel. Flanks is light plus sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, clean. A great example of a style that is easy to fuck up.

22 oz bottle poured, from France44. Labeled as Rainmaker India Red Ale. Very well made amber here. A memorable flavor for sure. Sweet caramel and wood aroma to it. Rocky tan foam head. A good balance of rich malt, and bittering hops. Another wood reminder in there, but mild. Cool finish. Flavorful. Excellent red here.

Tried during RBSG. From notes. Pine with a bit of citrus and a lot of caramel malt. Very good.

22oz bomber split with Anndiesel. Deep burgundy stained glass-red color, foamy glass lacing head. I’m not the biggest Amber fan, but this one is really quite nice. Big smooth malt tones, with some definite sweet fruity amber malt tones, but balanced out by rich caramel and other specialty malts. Quality hop balance, give its a citrus, bubblegum edge. Solid offering.

Pours a dark mahogany color with a medium tan head. A light sweet nose of caramel and some roast. This is not really an amber but anyway: sweet caramel, big rough roast, some bitter hops, light fruit, finishes a bit astringent and dry. Maybe a bit too much roasted malt or needs more late hop additions. But solid overall.

From tap at Republic. Pours clear and golden deep amber to red with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, pine and grapefruity. Bitter, light herbal and mild spiced. Bitter and light herbal. Bitter and dry into the far finish.
